Very little of it is written honestly, in plain language, for someone over 50 who wants a genuine, realistic picture before investing real time and effort.
What we're trying to do differently
The Independent Income Club exists to fill that specific gap. Every guide on this site is written to be honest first — realistic timelines, real trade-offs, and genuine effort required, not inflated promises. I'd rather tell you a path takes six months of consistent work than pretend it's an overnight fix, because that honesty is what actually helps people succeed, rather than setting them up to quit in month two feeling misled. No fluff, no fake screenshots, no fabricated success stories — just real research and straight answers.
Who this is for
Primarily, people over 50 exploring online income for the first time — whether that's building a retirement supplement, replacing a traditional income after a career change, or simply pursuing a long-held interest in a more flexible, independent way of working. Many of our readers have decades of real professional experience and are looking for a way to apply it — often in a completely new context — not a beginner's course that ignores everything they already know.
